We wanted snacks on the go, but struggled to find options with ingredients that we could eat!

We struggled with painful physical reactions to conventional sugars,  pesticides and herbicides, the added "vitamins" that seem to be in everything these days, and just said enough is enough!

Now we've been making our own snacks for almost a decade now, and decided it was time to share!

Grown Goodies is a small, husband-and-wife granola company in Spirit Lake, Idaho. We moved from Texas to a North Idaho homestead to grow our own food and live closer to the land, and Grown Goodies grew out of that same way of living. 

We make All Day Granola in four flavors: Cinnamon Coconut, Sea Salt Coconut, Cacao Coconut, and Spiced Chai Coconut. Every batch is baked by hand in a commercial kitchen in Spirit Lake with a short list of ingredients we chose on purpose. Every flavor has glyphosate residue tested, gluten free, USDA organic sprouted oats, big unsweetened coconut flakes, organic avocado oil, grassfed beef collagen for a little extra protein and amino acids, organic psyllium husk for a little extra fiber, and a touch of organic agave and organic maple syrup.

Reading labels is a necessity in our home. Health challenges that followed military service, along with food sensitivities we both live with, taught our family to look closely at everything we eat.

For years we made our own snacks because we couldn't find ones we trusted. When friends and family kept asking for our granola, we decided to share it. 

We launched Grown Goodies in the fall of 2026, and at our very first market we sold 50 of the 62 bags we brought, showing us that others are seeking the same things we are!

Our goal is to make a snack that other label-readers can trust, and to make it right here in Idaho. 

Next, we're working to bring our granola to local grocers, co-ops, and coffee shops across North Idaho, and to share samples in stores so people can taste the difference for themselves. 

Over time, we hope to grow production in Idaho, create local jobs, and bring more of our own homestead into our products, with ingredients like lavender and hops grown on our land.
