About our granola

What is All Day Granola?

Small-batch granola baked in North Idaho with sprouted oats, big unsweetened coconut flakes, avocado oil, grassfed beef collagen, and Ceylon cinnamon. It comes in 3 oz bags in four flavors: Cinnamon Coconut, Sea Salt Coconut, Cacao Coconut, and Spiced Chai Coconut. We wanted something that we can snack on anytime, all day! That's why we call it All Day Granola.

Where is it made?

In a commercial kitchen in Spirit Lake, Idaho. We bake every batch ourselves, in small batches, and package it by hand.

What makes it different from other granola?

We pick every ingredient on purpose and keep the list short. We use avocado oil instead of seed oils, big coconut flakes instead of shredded coconut, real Ceylon cinnamon, and two natural sweeteners (agave and maple syrup). We bake it low and slow until it's truly crisp.

How should I eat it?

Straight from the bag, with milk as cereal, or over yogurt with berries. It's made to travel, so keep a bag in your car, desk, or backpack.

Ingredients

Why avocado oil?

We use organic Avocado oil in all of our granolas. It holds up well to baking and has a clean, neutral flavor that lets the coconut and cinnamon come through. It's also the oil we've used in our own kitchen for years.

Why Ceylon cinnamon?

Most cinnamon sold in the US is cassia. Ceylon cinnamon is a different variety with a lighter, sweeter, more complex flavor. Once you taste the difference, it's hard to go back. Also, studies have shown that Ceylon cinnamon can have health benefits, whereas Cassia, which is often what people are using instead of Ceylon, does not have the potential health benefits of Ceylon Cinnamon.

What is the collagen, and where does it come from?

We use grassfed beef collagen, sourced from cattle hides instead of bones, which means it has fewer contaminants in it, as cows store that stuff in their bones. It's unflavored, so you won't taste it! We add the collagen to add a little extra protein to the granola, and also to get some other benefits it could offer for our skin, hair, and nails.

What is psyllium husk?

Psyllium Husk is a plant fiber from the husks of psyllium seeds. It is naturally gluten free!

What sweeteners do you use?

Organic agave and Organic maple syrup. Nothing artificial!

Is it organic?

Many of our ingredients are certified organic, and they're marked as organic in our ingredient list. The finished granola isn't certified organic, so we don't label it that way. Organic Certifications cost a lot, ad we are a small family owned brand!

Where can I see the full ingredient list and nutrition facts?

On each flavor's product page, in plain text under the photos.

Allergens and diets

Is it gluten-free?

We use certified gluten-free oats, but we bake in a shared commercial kitchen that also processes wheat. Because of that, we don't label our granola gluten-free. We take allergen claims seriously. If you have celiac disease or a serious gluten sensitivity, please take that into account. If you are comfortable with our recipe containing no gluten, even though we use a shared kitchen that processes gluten, you can try it out!

What allergens does it contain?

Our granola contains coconut, which used to be considered a major allergen, but it is no longer on the FDA major allergen list. It's made in a facility that also processes wheat, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, sesame, tree nuts, and peanuts. Always check the label on your bag for the most current allergen information.

Is it vegetarian or vegan?

No. Nothing we make is vegan or plant based. Our granola contains grassfed beef collagen, so it's not vegetarian or vegan.

Is it dairy-free?

There are no dairy ingredients in our granola, but it's made in a facility that also processes milk.

Freshness and storage

How long does it stay fresh?

Every bag has a best-before date printed on it. Store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

Why are the bags 3 oz?

One bag is one serving, so it stays crisp and fresh until you open it, and it's easy to grab on the go.
